But I’m very pleased with it so far. It’s another realistic tale of a teenaged trans girl. And I hope to have it done in a week or so.
But I’ve been a little distressed by a recent Amazon review of Solstice that disparaged the illustrations, though.
I enjoy those illustrations, myself, but I wonder how other readers perceive them. If you find they distract and detract from the stories, please let me know.
The upcoming Vella serialized format on Amazon permits only cover illustrations so perhaps that will be a useful experiment, once Vella goes live later in July.
But please let me know your thoughts on this. It looks like that unfavorable review of Solstice has really impacted sales of that book so I really don’t want to be producing books that don’t please my readers.
