Are now available on the brand new Kindle Vella platform. The Vella platform is for serialized stories and it just went live at Amazon yesterday. I have been putting chapters (called ‘Episodes’ on Vella) of my new book My Secret Self for weeks now but Vella only opened its doors to the reading public yesterday.
The way Vella works is that the first few episodes of a story are offered for free and then subsequent episodes can be purchased with tokens the reader buys from Amazon.
So My Secret Self already has a bunch of episodes available and is a continuing work in progress, with episodes added weekly.
But I also have another Transgender Tale starting on Vella, called Influence: A Transgender Tale. I’ve just posted the first couple episodes and these should be live on Vella in a day or two.
Both these new T-Tales are realistic stories of young transgender women—no sci-fi or fantasy elements in these. So they are both like my first Amazon book, Becoming Eleanor, in that regard.
These two tales each have unique heroines. One is from an affluent suburb, the other is from a grittier neighborhood in Chicago. And each story features its own unique challenges and plot twists.
I hope you all enjoy them both on Vella, now that it’s open for business. Both of these stories should later be compiled into complete and illustrated books on Amazon but until then you can only read these new ongoing Transgender Tales on Vella.
