I’ve just posted the first 2 episodes of a third Transgender Tale on Amazon’s new Vella for episodic fiction. This new one just hit me and had to be put into words, even though I’m still working to complete the first two Vella T-Tales.
The new one is ‘Short Stuff: A Transgender Tale’ and is about a young attorney, short of stature for a male, whose beautiful wife decides he would make a much better she.
Since our attorney has long been creating a feminine persona named Laura, this seems like a lovely development. Until said wife finds she very much prefers Laura to Leonard. And she is the kind of wife who gets what she wants. And before Leonard quite realizes it, Laura is here to stay.
This new T-Tale joins ‘My Secret Self’ and ‘Influence: A Transgender Tale’ on Vella. Influence will probably cross the finish line first, in terms of being completed and then I will compile the Vella episodes, add illustrations, and publish it as a complete novel on Amazon’s Kindle.
But Short Stuff is writing itself, it feels, so it might well be the second Vella work to get compiled, illustrated, and published as a Kindle novel. It’s kind of forcing itself to be written, it’s such a compelling tale for me to write.
