Someone just gave Solstice a one star review on Amazon, in spite of calling it “very well written and quite gripping”. The reason? This trans horror story was, apparently, too scary.
“I started to wonder if I was going insane reading this” the reviewer writes. Which is rather high praise, I thought, for a sci-fi horror story.
I would put those two quotes on the book jacket, honestly.
Sorry if this particular T-Tale was too dark and scary a story, dear reader, but don’t give up on my other books. Most of them have happy endings, honestly. Even Solstice does, sort of, for the heroine.
But honestly, I’m kind of pleased it had such impact for this reader, even though I’m sorry the reader found it a bit too intense.
I kinda feel I did my job with this little story, to tell the truth. Check it out and see for yourself.
