For my latest book, Pelagia, has me feeling a little grumpy today. It’s not the first time one of my T-Tales has gotten a review that wasn’t great—Solstice and Devil’s Due both left a couple of Amazon reviewers puzzled or unhappy.
I know, you can’t please all readers. And tomorrow, perhaps someone will post a more positive review. It’s just frustrating that the first Amazon commentary by a reader of Pelagia (as opposed to just assigning stars) is not a happy one.
This writing business is hard. And you never know if you’re hitting a home run or grounding out, when you release a new effort.
All I can do is keep writing. And I will.
