As promised, I’ve now begun the continuation of my book from last year, Devil’s Due: A Transgender Tale. That T-Tale was a dark story of an arrogant womanizing author named John Templeton, who found his reputation and career in tatters in the wake of his own personal “Me, Too” revelations.
Only John got a second chance, transformed and reborn as Jane Templeton.
But as I wrote a few days ago, a recent re-reading of that book led me to feel I might have ended the story too early. So now it’s being continued, on Kindle Vella, as To Beat The Devil.
I just uploaded the first two episodes. The first is just a recap of Devil’s Due, for Vella readers who haven’t read the earlier book on Kindle. The second episode is where this story actually continues, taking up right where the original book ended.
Not sure yet if these new chapters will be added to a new edition of the original book or be published as a separate book on Kindle. Guess it depends on how much additional story there is to tell. We’ll see, I guess.
