I feel as though I have been looking for this book my entire life. So great to have a trans-heroine who does more than fret about being trans. Reminds me more of Sarah Paretsky’s V.I.Warshawski than anyone else — a gritty crime thriller, set in a wintry Chicago, with a nice dose of tech and sci-fi thrown in. And I really enjoyed the tiebacks to the author’s earlier books.
